Mangalagiri Panakala Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is one of the eight sacred places in India of Lord Vishnu. It was situated at the foot of the Auspicious Hill in Mangalagiri of Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh, the word Mangalagiri means Holy Hill.

This temple located with three different temples, the one located at the top and the other located at the bottom they named by follows- Pankala Narasimha Temple on the hill and Gandala Narasimha Temple at the top of the hill.  It is one of the temples constructed with the highest gopurams in South India and only one type in this part of India, 153 feet(47) km in height and 49 feet (15) km in wide.

It is said about during Krutayuga Honey was offered, Ghee in Dwaparayuga, milk in tretayuga and panakam or jiggery water in this Kaliyuga. The all the devotees used to offer panakam by pouring into the wide-open mouth of the lord. Only half of the panakam will be accepted by the Lord and the rest will come out of the mouth which the devotees are offering as the prsadam. There will be no ants after offering large quantities of jaggery water.

Sri Panakala Narasimha Swamy Temple Mangalagiri timings are from 7 AM to 4 PM. Daily in the morning at 7 AM the temple doors will be opened and Dailly at 4 PM the temple doors will be closed.

To get a console with God the visitors have the particular timings-

Panaka Nivedana it starts at 7 am and terminates at 3:30 pm

Avasara Nivedana starts at 12 pm

Maha Nivedana is at 3:30 pm

Nijaroopa Darshan: 6 am on Every Ekadasi day.
