Sri Vinayaka Temple, Guddattu Timings, How to Reach, History

Guddattu Vinayaka Temple is believed to have been built 800 years ago and stands in a unique location below a huge granite rock. Guddattu is a village off NH 66 and around 90 km from Mangalore. It is believed that those who come to the temple and pray to the goddess will never go hungry in their life.

The idol of Lord Ganapathi is about 3 feet and is in black stone sculpture with a little gap around it. The cave is always kept filled with water sinks the Lord Ganapathi up to neck level. The Lord is visible to the people through a hole which is located in front of Lord Ganapathi.

The temple of Lord Ganapathi is renovated by attractive Mukhamantapa, Thirthamantapa, Hebbagilu, and paul which is constructed here granitic structure as per temple Vaastu.

The unique and special poojas performed here are ‘Ayar Koda Seva’, tailabhyanjana, Pancha Ratha, Rudrabhisheka. Usually ‘Rudrabhisheka’ Seva is performed in Shiva temple but it is performed here to Lord Ganapathi.

Guddattu Vinayaka Temple Timings:

The temple is available throughout the year but to have Darshan with Lord Ganesha you must know the temple timings like how much time it will be available to you to have Darshan. The temple opens and closes from 5 am to 9 pm.
